The Trump administration yesterday sued three Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) board members who refused to leave their offices after President Trump fired them.
President Donald Trump's administration filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against three board members of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting who have not left their posts despite Trump's attempt to fire them.
Trump has asked lawmakers to rescind nearly $1.1 billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which represents the full amount it’s due to receive during the next two budget years. The Senate approved the package,
"Like the people who turned Louisiana from a mosquito-ridden wilderness into a hospitable haven, we'll adapt and make the most of what we have," KRVS general manager said.
UPDATED: The Justice Department has embarked on a new effort to remove three board members, including Sony’s Tom Rothman, from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
