Republican senators are warning that former Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (R-Fla.) nomination to serve as President-elect Trump’s attorney general is in serious trouble, even though Republicans will control 53 seats in the upper chamber next year.

At an event at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, the president-elect said he wanted Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota to be his interior secretary. Mr. Trump also praised Mr. Kennedy, who is skeptical of mainstream health recommendations,

"We have a generational opportunity to bring together the greatest minds in science, medicine, industry, and government to put an end to the chronic disease epidemic," Kennedy said.
