S EATTLE — Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford was responsible for the first rocket on fireworks night at T-Mobile Park on Friday. The veteran infielder hit a walk-off, two-run home run to right field to lead the Mariners to a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers.

Cal Raleigh homered again, rookie Cole Young also went deep and George Kirby pitched six strong innings as the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 6-0 on Thursday night. Raleigh hit his major league-leading 42nd home run in the fifth inning,

His first of two homers on the day was the hardest-hit ball of Raleigh's career at 115.2 mph. The catcher, while "honored" to be an All-Star starter, will be happy to deal with less publicity with voting complete.
