Connecticut’s extreme hot weather protocol is in effect from noon Tuesday, July 15, through at least 8 p.m. Friday, July 18, as hot and humid weather is expected over the next few days.
The National Weather Service said the storms could bring frequent lightning, quarter-sized hail and wind gusts up to 65 mph.
